A skin care regimen is not effective without regular cleansing. Depending on your skin type, certain products may be more effective than others. While some cleansers are harsh and strip the skin down, others are gentle and may provide relief for troubling conditions such as acne. It is best to look for a cleanser that doesn’t just lightly rub the surface of your skin and leave behind dirt and residue. An effective cleanser should remove dirt, oil, make-up, and impurities from your skin while at the same time offering additional benefits. The Facial Cleansing Cream with AHA by Natura Bissé is supposed to cleanse and exfoliate your skin in one step.

Natura Bissé claims that the Facial Cleansing Cream is two products combined into one. First, the cream is supposed to rid the skin of impurities including make-up. Second, the product is supposed to leave your skin soft and renewed. Promising perfection, the Facial Cleansing Cream is formulated with AHAs, a popular term in skin care. What exactly are AHAs and why do they matter?

Although the term sounds like a hot new buzz word, AHAs stand for Alpha Hydroxy Acids, molecules that are naturally found in fruits. Found in many different skin care products, AHAs are responsbile for exfoliating and softening the skin. Additional benefits of AHAs are said to include the reduced appearance of lines, wrinkles, and skin discolorations. Some familiar AHAs that you may find on skin care product labels include lactic acid, citric acid, and glycolic acid.

Natura Bissé suggests that other ingredients found in the Facial Cleansing Cream soothe and “decongest” the skin. The product contains ingredients such as Chamomile, Lemon Blossom, Mallow Botanical Extracts, and Aloe Vera. This product is not Paraben-Free, contains Alcohol and Fragrance so it is possible that if you have sensitive skin, you may experience some irritation when using it.

I’m really liking this cleanser. It has some very hydrating ingredients and AHA’s in the formula. For normal/dry skin. My skin is normal to oily, but find this is great for Winter. The AHA’s are mild; gently exfoliate the skin without irritation. The hydrating ingredients (mallow and linden) help calm and provide hydration.

Note: With continued use, this cleanser wasn’t suitable for my skin. Maybe the SLS (sodium laureth sulfates) or AHA’s and parabens??? Had to discontinue.

I like this better than most face cleansers. It cleans without stripping, does not leave face dried out. Cleans well, rinses off easily. Recommend.

I really love this cleanser, in fact, it is the best cleanser I have used so far. It comes in a tube. It has thicker-than-lotion consistency. I cannot comment on how it removes makeup because I use a baby wipe to remove makeup before I use this guy. It cleanses my skin very well without leaving it tight afterwards. Very gentle but effective. Has a light smell. However, I’m starting to incorporate retinol into my skincare routine, and I can’t use this cleanser with a retinol product because it contains AHA and BHA that are known to reduce the effectiveness of retinol product, and I don’t want that. So to sum up, I guess I will continue using it in the morning when I don’t apply retinol. P.S. I’ve being using it for 3.5 months, and I still have a good amount of product to last me about a week.

Though this is for dry skin I decided to try it anyway. It works pretty well as a cleanser and actually left my skin a little dry so I’d imagine it wouldn’t be very moisturizing for drier skin.

I got decent looking results after using this but it didnt foam up like I thought it would and didnt rinse off that well. I’m sure there are better face washes out there that will do the same thing.
