Cleansing regularly is an important part of preventing damage and maintaining healthy skin. The face should be cleansed at least twice a day, toned and moisturized. There are some products that are more one-dimensional while others provide multi-dimensional effects. If your concern is cleansing and toning, AMOREPACIFIC has a product called The Treatment Cleansing Foam that the company claims will address those two areas and can be applied twice daily.

The Treatment Cleansing Foam from AMOREPACIFIC is according to the company, a foaming formula that removes impurities from the skin. The Cleansing foam is also supposed to remove make-up as well. Amore Pacific product information lists a few benefits that users can expect from the product.

AMOREPACIFIC claims to both antioxidant and antibacterial protection. The Treatment Cleansing Foam is also supposed to treat blemishes and prevent breakouts. The antioxidant protection and detox activities are said to come from Vitamin E beads which are micro-encapsulated within the formula. Amore Pacific promises to leave the skin feeling clean and smooth after use.

Product information suggests that the cleanser works well on both normal and oily skin as well as skin that is prone to breakouts. The formula is also supposed to be free of a couple of ingredients that users may be looking to avoid including: sulfates, petro-chemicals, and phtlalates.

AMOREPACIFIC claims to provide the most powerful age-defying botanicals from Asia, using advanced science to create perfect complexes. The brand says that all of its products are formulated to meet the highest concentration of time-released treatments for lasting results.

AMOREPACIFIC does not engage animal testing and discontinued animal testing on all of their cosmetics in 2008. As part of their basic principles, the brand extended their policy on non-animal testing to their suppliers in 2013.

This product smells fresh and I love the way my skin feels dewy after usage However, after two weeks, my sensitive combination skin broke out in small pimples on my cheek area. I may be allergic to the strong red ginseng root or bamboo sap. Too bad. I really really wanted to like this product. When my skin clears up I am going to try it again to see if other variables may have played a role in my breakout. But right now I think that the breakouts are being caused by this product.

I do also agree with another reviewer that the packaging is very drug store like. It is a plastic tube with a snap open lid. The manufacturers must be saving a lot of money on manufacturing such a generic plastic tube on the factory assembly line.

What’s with the little blue beads in this? They certainly didn’t exfoliate! This cleanser, like all cream cleansers I’ve tried, took my makeup off but left my skin feeling like it had a film all over. Unless I’m using a cleansing oil first, I don’t want to use a cleanser after I just used a cleanser. I did like the very strong fragrance this cleanser has, but it certainly won’t be for everyone. I paid $9 for a travel-sized 1 oz tube. Within the first ten uses, the threads on the container were sheared off by the cap when I tried to twist the cap back on. I had to keep this tube upright in the box with the cap resting on it. Very poor quality at this price point. This does contain triclosan (my box lists it but maybe they have reformulated?) and parabens in case you’re avoiding either. Between the film on my skin and the bad luck with the bad container, I wouldn’t purchase this again.

I wanted to love all of these products. I am a huge lover of skincare and have tried it all. This product worked well to cleanse my face but I was schocked at the amount of perfume. I described it to a friend as washing my face with a bottle of perfume–and that’s being kind. I cannot believe this product passed testing. I’m not sensitive to smell nor is my skin. The smell actually irritated my eyes in the shower. I would have loved it if it had a milder less obtrusive scent. I cannot express how strong the smell is. Sadly I will return it

Doesn’t strip skin. Super concentrated, I use the size of a pea so this tube will last forever. Foams nicely. Love this whole line.
