Moisturizer acts as a barrier between environmental stressors and your skin. It also is responsible for keeping your skin soft. Skin that is well-moisturized will cause the signs of aging to be more noticeable while failing to moisturize the skin early can cause premature aging. The Anti-Aging Complex by La Prairie is supposed to be an advanced formula that creates a “moisture veil “ to protect the skin.

La Prairie suggests that the Anti-Aging Complex will not only hydrate the skin but relax the expression lines that eventually lead to wrinkles. It is also supposed to target “microstress” beneath the skin’s surface, protecting it from deterioration.La Prairie also claims that the Anti-Aging Complex is a time-released formula that distributes moisture droplets continuously.

The company suggests applying the Anti-Aging Complex twice per day using the palm of your hands but, it can be applied as needed. The formula should be applied to your face, the neck, and the décolleté, while contouring your face with a pressing motion. The Anti-Aging Complex does not include a sunscreen ingredient like many other brands and La Prairie recommends following up the treatment with one of their day creams with SPF 30.

La Prairie has received mixed reviews from end-users that range from being very satisfied to others having seen little results. The price point on La Prairie makes it a very high-end, exclusive item that many people are interested in at least trying.

La Prairie includes many different ingredients in the complex, some familiar ones are Retinyl Palmitate, Olive Oil, Fruit Extracts, and Hazelnut Protein. This is not a Paraben-free product and it also includes Alcohol and Fragrance. These types of ingredients may in fact irritate sensitive skin if used too frequently or in combination with other products.

I love this moisturizer and I use it both in the day and night.
It has a very heavy and rich texture. However, it does not make my skin oily at all.

I have given this cream a second.. a third chance but I still cannot find a reason to like it. Overpriced, non-hygienic jar and no visible results. Texture is not nice -I am aware you have to warm it up first between your fingers- and I cannot feel any difference. Since it has no SPF, I only use it at night but then why not use the Anti Aging Night cream or the Anti Stress Cream which is so much better? Will not buy again and have regrets about buying it..

This creme has such a soft luxurious feel. Its a very indulgent moisturizer but well worth the money. It smells fresh and clean. It only has smell when you first put it on. After that its nothing bothersome or noticeable. Its great for daytime use and gives me a fresh matte but not too matte finish. I want my skin to look clean without being too shiny or oily. My skin is usually prone to breakouts but this creme didnt make me break out. It gives great hydration without feeling heavy or making my skin shiny.

I tried a sample of this product and was really impressed, it seem to absorb easily into the skin and really reduced expression lines which is what I´m looking for. However when I bought the actual product it was really different, the colour but most of all when I apply it to my skin it leaves it feeling tight and a little dry, even though I do mix in the palm before application. I´ve written to La Prairie and they assure me this is normal. I´m not convinced about this product. I´ve tried other La prairie products and they are really great but I find it irritating that the real product seems to have nothing to do with the sample. I do not know whether I will buy again.

It is too heavy for me. I am 45 but no way for me to use it as a day cream. On the other hand it doesn’t seem regenerating enough to be used as a night cream. Don’t like the texture & smell. I used up 2 samples and that’s enough. Not for me.

I have some samples but will not buy it. It is OK but I expected a better texture by La Prairie… This cream is too thick for my tastes and I’m not especially impressed with it. Well, maybe for a night use but I think I’ll pass this one.

Was hoping for a little more results for the price.

Feels kind of heavy on my face, uncomfortable when I try to apply my foundation afterword. I feel like my pores are completely clogged.
